First Friday Climate Resilience Walk
October 3 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Join Cat Buxton, Rachel Kent, and other local food and climate resilience leaders on a First Friday walk on October 3rd. Timing is below and folks are welcome to join at the Town Hall or Ratcliffe Park locations if mobility is a challenge. We will also have folks who can push wheelchairs onsite at the start of the walk.
4:00pm – Meet at the Upper Valley Coop and leave for Town Hall
4:20pm – Arrive at Town Hall.
4:40pm – Leave Town Hall for the Hazelwood Food Forest at Ratcliffe Park
5:00pm – Tour Hazelwood Food Forest
5:30pm – Leave Hazelwood Food Forest to return to the Upper Valley Coop
Along the way we’ll highlight opportunities for people to join in on the various resilience projects happening all over town (and beyond)!
This walk is a collaboration between The Quechee Library, Hartford Hub, and the Upper Valley Coop.
