SUMMARY:250th Trivia with the Vermont Historical Society
DESCRIPTION:Do you know which battle of the Revolutionary War was actually fought in Vermont? How about the original name for Camel’s Hump? Or who was the first governor of Vermont? Test your wits while spending time with family and friends. You’ll compete against other teams for prizes and learn fun new facts about the Green Mountain state. \nAbout the Vermont Historical Society \nFounded in 1838\, the Vermont Historical Society serves to engage both Vermonters and “Vermonters at heart” in the exploration of our state’s rich heritage. Our purpose is to reach a broad audience through our outstanding collections\, statewide outreach\, and dynamic programming. We believe that an understanding of the past changes lives and builds better communities. \nThis is a collaborative program of the Hartford libraries – Quechee/Wilder\, Hartford\, and West Hartford.
