We&#8217;ve got a ukulele, Happy Light, punch bowl, dvd player, dolley, chairs, and a wood moisture meter.\u00a0 Let us know what else might be helpful<\/p>\n<p>The PASSES are already among our most popular items.\u00a0 They are loaned for 48 hours.\u00a0\u00a0 Call to check on availability before visiting.<\/p>\n<p>Due to high demand overdue fees are charged for passes that are returned late.\u00a0 Click on site name for more information:<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vtstateparks.com\/\">Vermont State Parks<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/historicsites.vermont.gov\/\">Vermont Historic Sites<\/a>:<\/b><br \/>\nThe Parks pass and the Historic Site pass each admits up to 8 people in one vehicle.<br \/>\nGo camping, hiking, biking, swimming, boating, fishing, picnics, or visit one of our state\u2019s historic sites.<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vinsweb.org\/\">VINS\u2014Vermont Institute of Natural Sciences<\/a>:<\/b>\u00a0 Admits patrons for the discounted fee of\u00a0 $5 each. Children 3 and under are free. Open year-round, the 47-acre Quechee campus features state-of-the-art raptor enclosures, exhibit spaces, classrooms, and interpretive nature trails. Tree canopy opens Fall 2019.<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.americanprecision.org\/\">The American Precision Museum<\/a>: \u00a0 Family pass a<\/b>dmits up to two adults with their school-age children.<br \/>\nThe museum holds the largest collection of historically significant machine tools in the nation. Located in Windsor, VT<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.echovermont.org\/\">ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center<\/a>:<\/b> Admits up to four persons for seven dollars each. Located in Burlington, ECHO\u2019s mission is to inspire and engage families in the joy of scientific discovery, wonder of <span style=\"color: #000000;\">nature, and care of Lake Champlain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fairbanksmuseum.org\/\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><span style=\"color: #993366;\">Fairbanks Museum and Planetarium:\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/a>Inside a classic Victorian building, there is a dazzling array of animals and artifacts, dolls and tools, shells and fossils, and much more.\u00a0 Upstairs is Vermont&#8217;s only public planetarium. The Museum holds over 30,000 objects from an eclectic permanent collection, including natural science specimens, historical artifacts, archival photographs and documents, and ethnological treasures.\u00a0 A Naturalist&#8217;s Corner and\u00a0 temporary exhibits add to the pleasures, meant for all ages. This February the new Tang Science Annex opens.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #783d98;\">Hildene Museum:<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong> Manchester, Vermont.\u00a0 The 1905 Georgian Revival mansion, home to Robert and Mary Lincoln, is open to the public as are 12 miles of walking trails and the Hildene Farm and Goat Dairy. The Library pass admits one adult and two children under the age of 16.<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vermonthistory.org\/\">Vermont Historical Society Museum<\/a>: <\/b>Admits a family to the Vermont History Museum at 109 State Street in Montpelier and the Vermont Heritage Galleries at 60 Washington St. in Barre.<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.billingsfarm.org\/\">Billings Farm and Museum:<\/a><\/b>\u00a0 Admits up to 2 adults and their children under age 18. Explore one of the finest operating dairy farms in America and a museum of Vermont&#8217;s rural past as a gateway to Vermont&#8217;s rural heritage.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/shelburnemuseum.org\/\"><b>Shelburne Museum:\u00a0<\/b><\/a> Quechee\/Wilder Library patron card must be carried by one user of pass.<strong><span style=\"color: #99ccff;\">:<\/span><\/strong> Admits 2 adults and accompanying children under 18 at reduced rates\u00a0 to a museum of\u00a0 Americana art.\u00a0 Over 150,000 works are exhibited in 39 exhibition buildings, 25 of which are historic and were relocated to the Museum grounds. \u00a0 Pass may also be used to register for events with attending patron&#8217;s name and a guest.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vtgranitemuseum.org\/\">VT Granite Museum<\/a><\/strong>: Admits 2 adults and their children under age 18. Discover the role granite has played in VT&#8217;s history and watch granite workers in action. Located in Barre&#8217;s 19th century granite manufacturing plant, the museum offers interactive environments for learning about geology, technology, history and art of Vermont&#8217;s unique granite heritage.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #783d98;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2 align=\"center\">Two telescopes and a Moon Viewing Kit<\/h2>\n<p>Available for three day loans are two readily portable\u00a0 telescopes.\u00a0 Periodically, the QW Libraries host &#8220;viewing nights&#8221; on the Quechee Green and Kilowatt Park,\u00a0 to help get acquainted with the telescopes and the sky.\u00a0 Moon binoculars, awarded by the Planetary and Lunar Institute, are available for borrowing along with the &#8220;moon-viewing kit&#8221;.\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> NEXT VIEWING NIGHT 7\/3 AT 9PM.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Your library card can now be used to obtain day passes for a host of different destinations, telescopes, and many more &#8220;non-traditional &#8220;items from tables to puzzles to games.
